When it comes to hosting an event, you want everything to be perfect. At Columbus Centre, our banquet halls are ideal for lunch or dinner venues in the Thunder Bay area. Any dishes not shown on the menu can be arranged to your satisfaction with the help of our manager. The menus shown are suggestions. We can prepare a custom menu for you. Tables are set with linen tablecloths and paper napkins. Linen napkins are available for a rental fee of $0.75 per person. They are available in white only. The staff will complete the table setting for you, including pouring wine for toasts. Decorating the tables is the responsibility of the party holding the function. The hall can be set up in several different arrangements to accommodate the type and size of your function.
Centre Regulations & Policies
All functions must end by 1:00 AM.
Guests must vacate by 1:30 AM.
Sparkles, glitter and/ or confetti may not be used.
No decorations and/ or banners may be attached to the walls or ceilings.
Open flame candles must be enclosed.
Extension cords will not be supplied by the Columbus Centre.
Damages to the premises and/ or equipment is the responsibility of the sponsor and will be payable upon demand
Late-night snacks are available at your request

If you are planning on serving cake later in the evening, you must supply paper plates, plastic forks and napkins. The staff will prepare only the service table for you. You will have to make your own arrangements to have the cake cut and served.

At Columbus Centre, our services are great for any business or family events. From our first contact, we’ll deal with every requirement professionally and work towards making your day memorable. While we can prepare any meal that you have in mind, we’d like to let you know that we specialize in Italian cuisine. Should you have dietary requirements such as vegetarian or gluten-free food, we’re happy to accommodate your request. Whether you are looking for a buffet, full dinner or lunch service, or would like a pickup service where we’ll cook and you’ll pick up the food, we can handle it all. Our services are ideal for all events and venues including:
Concession stands (sports and seasonal events)
A deposit of $350.00 is required on booking.
If the event is cancelled, the deposit is refundable only if an alternate rental is obtained for the date.
Your bill is prepared on the first business day following the function, based on the guaranteed count given one week before. All accounts are due within 7 days. There is a charge of 2% per month for overdue accounts. NSF cheques are subject to a service charge of $20.00.
All prices are subject to HST 13%. Prices are subject to change without notice. Gratuities are not included in your bill. That is left to your discretion.

Evenings (5-1 AM) – $400.00
Weekends (Friday/ Saturday/ Sunday) – $700.00
